My Constant Question: How Can You Be?

constant yet ever increasing
holy yet ever seducing
wisdom and yet foolish
sacrifice and yet selfish
uncertainty seems so intentional
mystery seems so logical
eternity feels like a moment
joy is born from lament
victory looks like defeat
discipline leads to singing

I am so overcome and filled; fears subside
I am so in love and thrilled: desire satisfied

I'm on the rooftop now; I'm in the valley next
The finite craves infinity; the inconstant, fidelity
